O’Toole’s Irish Pub in Brandon, FL is known for its “craic,” a term that describes the combination of music, food, and atmosphere. O’Toole’s is also known for its involvement in the community. Since 2008, the local pub continues to support the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to childhood cancer research. Each year O’Toole’s invites those who are brave enough to shave their heads to raise money for St. Baldrick’s.
This year the event was scheduled for Saturday, September 15th, 2012. We publicized the event through a variety of different media. A direct mail piece was sent to those in the Brandon area with a QR code linking to a Youtube video of Marcus, the owner displaying his true passion for the event.
We also sent out a press release inviting local newspapers to cover the event. O’Toole’s surpassed their goal of $15,000 to raise the astounding amount of $29,604.50. Compared to 2011’s revenue on the night of the event, 2012’s revenue was up by 11%. We are always glad to lend our expertise to such a worthy cause.
